About the Webinar

When: January 13, 2022, 11:00 a.m., ET
Duration: 60 minutes

The fundamentals of precision machine design are the key to achieving the highest levels of throughput in almost all precision manufacturing applications. Modern medical devices require precise processing at high rates of speed to be economically viable while maintaining clinical efficiency. These precision machining techniques excel in providing accuracy and repeatability during short and long production runs.

Learning Objectives

Presenter Will Land, who has more than a decade of experience solving challenging precision motion control and automation challenges for the medical device industry, will explain ways to improve your tubular laser processing systems.

You will learn:

  • The fundamentals of machine design, motion control and laser control, which directly impact your bottom line on the manufacturing floor
  • Why the machines on the floor get the results they do and how to make the next generation better

Who Should Attend

  • Manufacturing and process development engineers employed by medical device companies who work with new product development groups to get new device designs onto the production floor
  • Automation equipment engineers responsible for developing custom in-house tools for applications where off-the-shelf equipment isn’t adequate
  • Anyone responsible for sourcing outside OEM equipment or who works with custom machine providers for device manufacturing
  • Any person who is involved with designing or sourcing precision manufacturing machines, as the concepts apply to many other applications and machine types outside of medical device manufacturing
